can't do an ADD, & Links don't work?

can't do an ADD, & Links don't work?
I installed Links 2.0 and I'm inching my way along to success <laugh>. However, when I click on ADD a resource, my browser goes to a download mode. AND, ... when I click on a link it says I have an internal server error. Any ideas?

I did have about 1300 links, and I ran the upgrade.pl file and manually removed all the NULL remarks in my category file.
