If any can even point me in the right direction on this one, I will be eternally greatful ! :-)
I'm not unfamiliar with Perl, as I've been webmastering now for about 3 years, but this one takes the biscuit.
I am planning to use dbman for a hotel db application with the site I currently own/run. Here is the dilema:
I will be creating records (a single record per hotel) as and when clients sign up. Their permissions should be only to view_own and modify_own (the List All I'll take out myself). Any visitors to the sight should be able to click a link (eg: the hotel's name) and go straight to that record, and not to a search page or similar.
Can anyone explain the permissions I need to set for this to happen? Also, what needs to be passed in the link to the db for a client to view a record?
Anyone?
Many thanks in advance,
Richard
