Why does Gforum and Community send a temporary password when a reminder is requested?

I would rather it just send the actual password in the reminder, the users of my web site are confused enough as it is. LOL

Just wondering why you do it that way and if that can be changed as an admin setting.

Also I installed Community and Auth_Community plugin on my test forum to evaluate, but only the admin can login, all others get "Invalid Login". This could be caused by me, because I modified Gforum to use clear text passwords meaning they are clear text in the database... which means if I am going to use Community I will have to disable the MD5 encrypted passwords and make it use clear text passwords. This is not a banking application, so I prefer ease of administration over password encryption. Many times I help users on a toll free customer service number, I HAVE to see their passwords in order to assist them.

None of my GForum users were enabled on Import, what could be the reason for that?

I have purchased GForum and GMail so I would appreciate any help.
