Remote mail error

Remote mail error
Was just checking my regular pop account from a GMail account and clicked the "Manager" link from the options_remote_mail page. It says:

Code:
You have 1 message(s) total and 51 have been listed as downloaded.

And lists the one message. How can I have more messages listed as downloaded than there are total messages in the mbox? Or am I missing something?
