Yes, this should be possible with Gossamer community - http://www.gossamer-threads.com/scripts/community/

You can integrate any of the SQL versions of GT's products (Glinks,GForum,DBMan SQL, etc). It lets you have a centralised user base system (and single signup process, for any applications you have set up with it)
