Does anyone know of a way to get "wc" to work recursively in a directory tree?

Thanks, I'd got as far as using find and wc together but didn't quite have it working properly so you've put me on the right track :)
To do the count for Links SQL that I posted in the Links SQL forum I used a windows app called "numlines" that I came across by accident.
