Getting the magnifying glass onto altavista.cgi
I have been inspecting the script altavista.cgi that fetches a page and prints out some data about it. I really don't understand all the symbology that has been used. I wonder if I could get some help with these, in order to understand better. Maybe somewhere where I can read about it.
I need to catch something from a page. Say for example I want to get an image that reports the weather. Every day the image is stored at a web site, although the name of the file changes. For simplicity, lets imagine that its displayed after the phrase "The Weather". What should I do in order to grab the name of the url of the image?
