Huh? You mean something to run the Perl scripts before they go online? Try installing Perl on your server Wink

If you mean "editing" the actual scripts, try using:

http://www.textpad.com

OR

http://www.editplus.com

Both will put different colors for different codes.

BTW: This has been discussed quite a few times in this forum and as recently as last week in this forum...please try searching the forums more carefully before posting questions.

Thank you.

If you are looking for an IDE you could try ActiveState's Komodo. They also have a perl plugin for MS Visual Studio I believe. If you are looking for a text editor, I love vi and EditPlus. =)

Cheers,

Alex

For the actual editing I use EditPlus. Its great.

I assume you are running Win 95, 98 or ME. If so, go to sourceforge.com and do a search for PHP Triad. Its an install package for Windows that will install Apache, MySQL, Perl and PHP on your computer, and allow you to access it as though it were a website using

http://localhost/file.cgi

Its great for editing stuff - You don't have to upload things, test, change, upload etc.
