Sort numbers 1 instead or 01?

Does anyone know how to sort numbers. The problem I have is that it sorts but puts 19 ahead of 2,3,4,...

Is there no other way than inputting the single digits as 01, 02, 03 ...?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
