Well, since Virtual Avenue doesn't want to spend time on helping people with their homepages on virtualave.net servers, and they still didn't make a good support page... Anyway, I started this kind of service Smile

Comments, suggestions? Please. I need them.

Sincerely,

Pasha

BTW: I, personally, don't think that this topic is pertinent to this forum, but I will provide some feedback...

Looks fine to me...A few questions:

1) Did you get permission from VirtualAve to create this web site?

If not, it would be infringement of copyright laws and intellectual property rights to create a web site about a certain business and provide "support" for services rendered by that company.

2) Are you 100% familiar with VirtualAve's network and hosting services?

If not, then you are setting yourself up for a world of trouble. I empathesize with your desire to have a better support network, but if you are not 100% familiar with the VirtualAve network (hardware, software, etc.), then you may not be able to answer people's questions, which would lead to mass confusion.

Hope this helps.

I am awaiting for the permission from them; they should answer to me some time tonight.

As for now, this web site's main purpose is to give people some basic directions.

I do not provide any support for their company, and I do not advertize them. I do provide support for people who have problems with running their sites.

Hardware? I guess it's an IBM compatible system Smile Not a Mac.
Well, it's a network of 12 servers running on FreeBSD 3.0 i386. Connected to the Internet with OC-3 cables. They always add new harddrives, so it's difficult to tell how much space they got....

Plus, I will not be answering all the questions; I expect people to share the knowledge, they always do. Same as here Smile

Thank you for asking, it might help me in the future.

Best regards,

Pasha
