Hi, what I'm looking for is a CGI script that will let people submit comments on various things. Like, for example, let's say I had a webpage for dogs. Let's pretend I have a list of all the dogs. I want to let people submit a comment on a breed of a dog, for example a poodle. The users can also submit comments on collies, beagles, etc. I want to have the page with links to the pages that have the comments. So basically, there's a webpage with a list of dog types with each dog type with a link to another page as well as another link that goes to the comments page.

Yes...It is possible with DBMAN or LINKS.
In terms of the comment log page...You might want to look at some of the Mods being written and that have been written for LINKS, including Review and upgraded Rate scripts.

LINKS can be modified to categorize and link internal web pages. It is not only a product for creating a portal or mini-search-engine.

I would like at either LINKS or DBMAN and see if it they might work for you.
