$db_next_hits
Hi,

I don't quite like the way the program displays the $db_next_hits, so I decided to change the db.cgi a little. I went to the part where it builds the $db_next_hits. Where it has the name for next, I changed it from "[>>]" to "Next>>", it worked fine. When I wanted to change the Previous page from "[<<]" to "<<Prev", it didn't display that. Instead it just displayed "<". When I take out the text "Prev", it will display "<<". Just to see if the text was problem, I added a number after the "<<", and this time it displays "<<" and the number following that. Is the problem the fact that I have added text, although it's working fine with "<<Next".

Please help me.

The problem is in using the << which is directly followed by the html tag [/b]</a>[/b]. Unless you use the brackets or something else between them, the browser doesn't know where the </a> tag starts. (It seems to work in Netscape, though.)

I would suggest that you either use [Prev<<] or just Prev.
