. o can not be left blank
Hi,

After customizing DBman to install it on my site, I tried to add a record, but it came back with this error:
Error: Can't add record
. o can not be left blank

Certainly, I haven't got 'o' field.
Checked it in the default, changed every field's settings to 0 for not required, but I'm still getting this error.
Please, could anyone help me? I have no idea what I did wrong.
Thank you in advance

When you defined your fields in your .cfg file did you start the numbering with "0" and then 1,2,3, etc.?

You must start with 0, and i'm thinking if you didn't then that might be what is causing the error.

Thank you for your reply, LoisC, but meantime I found the problem.
I configured an e-mail field in the default file, 'E-mail'.
For some reason DB didn't recognise anything I wrote in the 'E-mail' field when I was trying to add records, and came back with this error message : .0 can not be left blank.
After changing the fieldname 'E-mail' for 'Yourmail', it worked perfectly. Maybe 'E-mail' can't be used as a field-name, it's reserved??

Anyway, it's working ok now, and I have to tell that apart from this problem, setting up DBman was like a dream. I am a beginner in Perl/CGI, but it took me only 1 day to configure and install it on my web-site!

Cool!!
Thanx again,
