500 Internal Error

500 Internal Error
Hello,

I usually don't have problems installing scripts but this one is giving me a hard time. I ftp'd all the files to a subdirectory I created in the cgi-bin directory. I gave that subdirectory 777 permissions. I adjusted all permissions according to the readme of all the other files. I corrected my perl path and put my full url in the cfg file as directed. When I attempt to run the script I get the 500 Internal server error-misconfiguration. When I look at the log files the error is as follows:

/home/virtual/site2/fst/var/www/cgi-bin/db/db.cgi
[Wed Jan 22 14:04:44 2003] [error] [client 24.229.64.144] Premature end of script headers: /home/virtual/site2/fst/var/www/cgi-bin/db/db.cgi

Any thoughts on what is wrong?

Thanks

Harry

Triple-check your permissions.

The bit about "Premature end of script headers: " sometimes happens to me when a file got hosed while uploading it. Try re-uploading all of the files (in ascii format of course) and see what happens.
