I can't add a new record when I send a big chunk of text from a textarea field, say 1,5k or more. The script tells me that it recieved an unknown command.

But when I modify that same record, I can make it as big as I like (the maxsize is set to 30000).

Anyone got a clue?

Good question.

Yes it does. I set up a clean demo at http://cgi.algonet.se/htbin/cgiwrap/t_hedbrg/temp/db.cgi, increased the size of the 'Description' field to 30000 and recieved the same response when adding a new large record:

Error: Unknown Action

The database program received a command that it did not understand.



But I could successfully modify an old record and give it a large 'Description' field.
