Hi all,,

after install I'm having problems loging on..
By default i got to a main menu.. but from there i couldn't change users and passwords.. so I edited the default.cfg file
so i had to login first so i could have admin permissions..

But i constently get the msg Logon Error
wrong .....

but i'm sure i Typed alright there is just something wrong but i can't find what??

can somebody please give me some advise

Try setting
$auth_no_authentication =1;
@auth_default_permissions = (1,1,1,1,1);

Then you will be able to access the "Admin" link without logging in. Make your changes to the password file and then change your permissions back to the way you want them.

Sometimes the encryption routines are different from one server to another. If your server uses a different encryption routine than the one that was used to create the password file, the passwords will not be correctly compared with each other. By changing the passwords while the file is installed on your own server, you'll overcome the problem.
