With my install I can log in with other browsers but not IE 4.

I get as far as the Log in:

http://yourchurchcangrow.com/cgi-bin/jobs/db.cgi?db=jobs

I see the forum discussed this about a year ago.

My question is has anyone been able to solve this problem since that round of posts. That discussion basically ended with the assumption that it was a browser bug and therefore could not be addressed.

Hi Curt, without seeing your files, it's real hard to identify what the problem may be. Did you make changes to the sub html_login_form area of html.pl?

Please save your default.cfg and html.pl files as text files and upload them to an area of your server which is accessible via the web.

Your login screen is not carrying a value for the uid. Do you have the db set-up with a default user having access?

I was not able to login to your db using guest/guest as indicated on your page and I wasn't using IE 4.0.

I noticed when I tried to log on, that the address had been changed from:

http://yourchurchcangrow.com/cgi-bin/jobs/db.cgi?db=jobs

to

http://yourchurchcangrow/cgi-bin/jobs/db.cgi?db=jobs&etc...
(ie: no .com)

I suspect you may have left it out of your $db_dir_url variable in your .cfg file. You may want to double check it.
