Converting to DBMan SQL

Converting to DBMan SQL
Hello guys,

I've been considering moving from basic DBMan to the SQL version and I have a few questions I'd like to ask from either Alex, or those who've gone before me.

1) How hard is the conversion process? Drop-in? Complete rebuild from scratch? I saw someone added in the SQL patches for the beta links on their own, so I'm just a little curious as to what I'll go through to get it running...

2) Is there a converter available to transfer my original DBMan file to SQL format? It's rather large and I'd hate to lose it just because I want the database to be faster and more accessible.

3) Does the SQL version use standard MySQL functions to manipulate the data?

Thanks for any advice,

I too am interested in converting to the SQL version, but more for reasons of security. I would like to know will MSAccess be compliant with the SQL version of DBman, using either Win95 or NT ?
