DBman encounter internal error:help!
FrownDear all, I am a novice in DBman. I got it from sowewhere la dbman.tar.gz.
I failed to install it and make it working. I try to run it in a local server, Apache (red hat linux).
I tried other cgi scripting here and works well, so is not server error.

all my files are in cgi-bin/dbman/

list of ok's:

perl is ok (version, path), indicated in db.cgi. File permissions are okay.

db.cgi: I added absolute path in $db_script_path /var/www/cgi-bin/dbman

(otherwise it doesn't work)

default.cfg: I added only the URL for $db_dir_url http://lcoalhost/cgi-bin/dbman

the rest is kept as default

$db_debug is enabled

when I disable the $db_debug, I get the same but the CGI following lines of the debugger don't show up anymore, still the thing doesn't work!

and $aut_no_authentication is 1 (I don't care about this currently)

string query is http://localhost/...ault&uid=default

I got: "DBman encountered internal error" message and next lines are the output of the debugger I guess.

when I change string query to //...//db.cgi i got the same

I haven't found this error in the forum.

Could anybody help me? I would really like to have it working as soon as possible.

Thanks!!!!
