Error Message : error in get_defaults. unabl
when i try to add a record it says this:
Error Message: error in get_defaults. unable to open id file: ./default.count.
Reason: Permission denied
also one more thing if you can help how can you put a background image into your database with auto generate on

You'll need to make sure you have chmoded the file correctly. Permissions shopuld be set to 666

As for the background image, you can put background="/path/to/image.gif" in the <BODY> tag in your html.pl file. Make sure also that the image is not in your cgi-bin.
