Is it possible to use a username and password field that will automatically send the username and password into htaccess.

Hi Stan,

I haven't tried it, but you could try setting the htpassword and DBMan password file the same. The formats are similiar and I'm not sure if Apache would choke or not if it saw the extra fields on each line.

I am a total novice and you steered me in the right direction. By changing the file name in the subroutine you wrote for adding users, I can write to htpassword. Just a few changes necessary because I don't want the permissions and stuff. Thanks a lot. You are very appreciated.
