i need help installing dbman for i know nothing about this.I am using web host hypermart.net which does allow perl cgi only
wish it was vb then i wouldnt be lost.the readme lost me i do have a datbase file made by ms access how do use all this help please

There are some other folks here who use hypermart and I recall seeing some discussion about putting up DBMan there. You might try doing a search for "hypermart" on the forum.

As for using an Access table, just export the table using a | as a delimeter. You may need to watch exporting date fields or "yes/no" fields, though. Sometimes they act a little strange.
