Incompatible with Tripod's cgi-bin setup?
I am trying to set up DBMan on a Tripod site. They do allow access to a cgi-bin and they say you can use your own scripts but I'm getting this error when I try to install

******************

Your script produced this error: Can't locate Time/Local.pm in @INC (@INC contains: .) at ./db.cgi line 1071. BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at ./db.cgi line 1071.

***********

I have successfully installed DB Man on my own server with no such problems and I'm wondering if Tripod doesn't support this script.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

From previous posts regarding this module it has been suggested to ask the host provider to install a new version of Perl which includes the Time/Local.pm module.

I'm not sure if there's a workaround, but you might want to search for "Tripod" and see if you can find any answers.

Hope this helps Smile

Nope. There's no workaround. Local.pm must be on your system.

I don't recall specific mention of Tripod, but it could be here.
