New user Registration?

Hi all,

Does DBMan have a registration page for new users? How does someone set up a username and password if they are new to the database?

turn on authentication in default.cfg and then you can have two links. One for existing members & one for new memebers.

Existing members would just go to:
www.yourdomain.com/cgi-bin/db.cgi

New members would go to:
www.yourdomain.com/cgi-bin/db.cgi?signup_form=1

I've tried it both ways and get the same screen..

$auth_no_authentication = 0;

or

$auth_no_authentication = 1;

I get the "Welcome you need to have an active account....etc etc" screen with no links when going to db.cgi

For sign-up to work you will need to change this line in the default.cfg file

$auth_signup = 1;

Still doesn't work..

$auth_no_authentication = 0;

$auth_signup = 1;

Added a link to the logon screen called Signup, pointed it towards:

http://www.mydomain.com/...db.cgi?signup_form=1

"Page not found"...

###Nevermind, figured it out..
