ok I down loaded the cuteftp and changed everything in the idividual files that needed to be changed. I then went to change the permissions and could not get them changed. I was wondering if the tripod server doesnt allow them to be changed. I ran a test and came back with proxyserver error. everything is here:

If you need more help please email me and I will get what other info you need. My intent on this is to porovied a searchable database for members to look up dogs by reg number sex color breed owner ect. the info that will be going into the database is on this website here:

1) FTP the files to a folder called dbman in your cgi-bin folder.

2) Then change the permission of the files as mentioned in the README file.

3) Change the variable configurations in the default.cfg.

You might want to learn alittle bit about Perl/CGI programming before going forward...there are some decent tutorials on the Web and also Perl for Dummies is a decent starter manual...
