unauthorized action
hi,

I can log in, but when I try to add, modify or something else, I get the message: Unauthorized action.
Sorry Eliot, I tried to set the permission of the .pass file to 666 but I'm on a NT-server and I don't know how to set permissions there (chmod din't work)

I have answered NT related questions MANY times in this forum. It would be best to search this forum more carefully.

The quick and dirty answer is that you need to set the permissions in the following manner:

Owner: Read, Write
Group: Read, Write
Everyone: Read, Write

This translates to the following NT "Users":

IWAM/MACHINENAME: Read, Write
IUSR/MACHINENAME: Read, Write
Everyone: Read, Write

You can change file permissions via FTP using Q_FTP, WS_FTP, and other FTP programs.

Wink
