working with an options field

working with an options field
I have a field in my database that is used for options this is how it is currently set up

|OPTIONS^Red^Blue^Green|

Is there a way to get dbman to read this field and then split the words between ^ to be printed into a pulldown menu. I will be using templates to create the results. If I am not able to do this I will find a work around. I am redesigning my database to wrok with this program anyway.

Thanks,

You would need to write a one-use script to convert your present database into format that DBMan can read. Or somehow export your data from your database into DBMan-readable format. I don't know how you could use the field as you have it there in DBMan. Sorry.
