I think it would also work with LinksSQL, for as I wrote I only use DBManSQL to serve the template set. O.K., the search function is also the one from DBManSQL, but it's not good, for you can't define search weights or exclude columns from beeing searched.

I think the best way to use such a product search is to setup a product-database manually, write the import-scripts (like I did) and the write a small plugin for searching and displaying the database-information within the LinksSQL-template-set.

In fact there's no need for DBManSQL at all.
