I run a shopping portal @ www.nobags.com. What I need as the growing amount of links is a way for the user to click on a main category and see 1 link from each sub-category listed below its title. This can then show just one store from that category and can change from day to day, but has to be one of the highest rated.

Is this possible? Does it need a lot of coding?

You have to give a graphic explanation. There are many ways to interpret what you are asking.

The short answer -- anything is possible -- and yes, it would be a fair amount of coding -- but might be able to use much of the logic I posted for the top/recent/old keywords.

When building each subcategory.html tag, you want to call a routine to show one of the top 20 links in some random selection.

It's possible, I don't know exactly what you want, though.
