Greetings,
Jack helped me get the Pop 3 plugin installed on a test site yesterday. We have a pop server on this machine already so Jack told me I need to assign a new port to check gmail via a client. I was hoping to hear from my server admin on how to do this on the server side if necessary but so far I have had no luck. I have been trying some things myself but by now I am pretty confused and seeking your advice.
If our server has a pop server already running on it - how do i set up the gmail server so that it uses a different port? An available port? In the plugin area of admin i see that going to edit brings up the port selection box. Other than choosing a new port number here I am not sure what else to do. Something on the server side I expect. Anyone have experience with this?
THanks,
Bob
