Funny you should say that I've just this minute updated it to have 3 images (check out the link again).

Could be altered to include that however I'm adding no more features to it, as things such as preview post etc.. are in comments 4.1 advanced...

Hmmm i getting greedy... how abt 4 images? Cos i wanna use the images to rate sites according to...

1- Site with great content
2- Site with fantastic design
3- Best of both worlds
4- Normal...

Or many can modify it to include many many images?

Add a new field to the form.....

<INPUT type="radio" name=Rating value = 3><IMG SRC="$db_images/normal.jpg" ALT="Normal site">

Then at the top in the relevant bit add...

$rate4++ if ($values[$db_rating] == 3);

Then change

$links=$rate1=$rate2=$rate3=0;

to....

$links=$rate1=$rate2=$rate3=$rate4=0;

I may have missed something else but I just did it quickly but that is the general idea.

Yeah it's not that hard all you need to do is...:

Change the comment submit form ie. currently it has
great site (value = 2)
okay site (value = 1)
bad site (value = 0)

If you want another image tjust change the scale of it there. ie values 3 to 0 instead or 2 to 0.

Then edit site html commentr 2 (so it uses the other image and change the scale there. If using many images is best to use a loop instead of if/else statements.)

Then in the cgi script just change the code that calculates how many people liked it/ didn't like it etc...

You do realise that your comments 4 page still says 2 images, instead of 3, and also the commentid4.txt file is actually called comments4id.txt.txt

Just thought I would tell you so you could update the page and fix the download

Is there a simple way to change the mod a bit so that your comments will come up on the detailed page for that listing?

Change is a purpose in progress...and a purpose is only a strong as it's Creator.

On my page it says:

'If you want more features such as different sorting, page spanning, validate option, list all, search etc.. then you should look at comments 4.1 advanced. '

The main purpose of it was to make it simple so people can install it. I'm not adding any more features as that's what comments 4.1 advanced is for.

That said however it already acts as a detailed page. Ie. the comments for a link are displayed on the seperate page plus any tags for the link can be used.

But it does not show when no Comment is made.

For example:

Comments: 0

Any suggestions?
