Hello,

I was at http://www.freegraphics.com and noticed that the webmaster is ranking sites with an Overall Rating with a graphic. Is there a mod that can do this easily? Can anyone help?

Have you tried sending email to the webmaster at freegraphics to see how they do it? That's where I'd start.

It's very easy actually. You need to add some variables to links.cfg, links.def, and site_html.pl and that's it.

This is done quite simply. You need to add a category to your links.db (search this fourm for a details or try Bear's instructions at http://members.xoom.com/bear118/ and set up displaying new category (Bear details this too). Then:

Hard way:Make this category for graphic/ranking. Enter url of your graphic (ie. http://here.com/4star.gif).

Easy way: set the new category as radio with values for 1-4 (or whatever). Set a global for each rating's graphic in the site_html.pl

Then, rate all your existing links!

Actually, all the webmaster at FreeGraphics.com did was add a field and then put the html code for the ranking graphic (the img src tag) in the extra field... but she didn't use the quotemarks you put in Correct HTML... she found those caused serious darn problems.
