The changes would be in site_html_templates.pl, under sub site_html_print_cat.

From your site:

<td colspan="2">
<p><font face="Verdana" size="1"><i><font color="#FFFFFF">.</font></i></font></p>
<p><b> <font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="-2"><div class="margin"><table width="70%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0"><tr><td class="catlist" valign="top">
<center <dl><font face="Arial" size="1"><dt><strong><a class="link" href="http://lnx.nauticalink.it/links/Accessori/">Accessori</a></strong> <small class="numlinks">(10)</small> <img src="http://www.nauticalink.it/new.gif"></dt><dd><span class="descript">Vela-Coperta-Sotto Coperta-Ormeggio-Standard </span></dd></dl><center

What is the first red part for? The center tags are incomplete, should be <center> and </center>. The center tag could go in the <td> tag once, not needed for each link. There are no closing <font> tags.

Try something like this, with CSS tags removed...

sub site_html_print_cat {

The same routine builds the list of subcategories. Check the category.html template, also. On you subcat page, this appears two times, and not at the top of the page where it should be:

<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0//EN" "http://www.w3.org/...EC-html40/strict.dtd">
</body>
</html>

Should only be there once. Also there is text after the closing tags:

</form>
</body>
</html>

You need to go through all your templates and make sure they are coded right. Use the stock ones from the download to compare. Are you using SSI at all?
