How come evry once in a while I get the following error when using "Build All":

CGI ERROR

Error Message : Error building! Links database is 0 bytes!
Script Location : nph-build.cgi
Perl Version : 5.00404

Is there something I can do to correct this?

Okay...check the following:

1) Make sure that you have links in your links.db file...if not, that's your problem.

2) Make sure that you have the correct number of links listed in your links.db file in your linksid.txt file.

3) Make sure that the permission of your files in the /data/ directory are set to 666 (rw-rw-rw-).

Hello!

Create category, and add link. After this try to rebuild.

Links database can't build, if no links in database.

Sorry, but I have the same problem. I check all path and permission, but when I go to admin.cgi and try to add a category, it says:
Error: Unable to Add Category

There were problems with the following fields:
Name (Invalid format)
Please fix any errors and submit the record again.

So, I tried to Build All, and I have same
