CGI Error
Can anyone help me understand what the following error message means?

Error Message : error in add_record. unable to open database: /cgi/links/admin/data/links.db.

Try chmodding the data directory to 777 and chmod links.db to 666

If that doesn't work then contact your host.

Ok. Please forgive me as I am a true newbie to this.

am I to understand that I am to log into the Shell Account?

If so, then I am truly lost because although I know how to log onto the Shell Account, I dont know any commands after that.

When I log on I get the following:

VDE$:_

the "_" is a blinking cursor. I am assuming that it is waiting for a command. So how to I change to the data directory from here? And how to I access the links.db as well?

Please forgive me as this is all new to me.

No...he means CHMOD links.db to 666, and the /data/ folder to 777 (in FTP) Wink
