Matt ssi banner problems in Links
I got Matt's SSI_Rand_Img displayer to work, but somehow it doesn't seem to work when i plug the ssi tag into the site_html.pl. I always seem to get an error message when I hit build page. Could someone please help me.
Thanks!

Dear Mark,
I always try to add the line <!--#exec cgi="/~summerc/cgi-local/ssi_image/ssi_rand_image2.pl"--> in the homepage section of site_html.pl so that i can run the random banner on the side of my page. When I add my changes, by hitting build pages I get this error:
Content-type: text/plain Error including libraries: syntax error at
/home/summerc/public_html/cgi-local/Links/admin/site_html.pl line 149, near "<!C-#exec cgi="/~summerc"
Make sure they exist, permissions are set properly, and paths are set correctly.
Other than that the script seems to work, but my banner doesn't come up. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You.

you're getting the error because of the:

~summerc

Since the "~" is used as a deliminator, Links thinks that the ~summerc is the end deliminator.

change to use qq| instead of qq~ (and change the end deliminator to |; instead of ~ Wink and you'll be ok.
