Search after first page - ERRORS
After you search you will get the first page then when requesting the second page of links getting an error message.

This has just started. I now have over 520 links and growing. Need to get this fiqured out.

Please advise.

It is something that you did that is causing the problem. I did a search for "a" (I knew that would bring a lot of hits)

From your main page's search box, hitting submit causes a new window to open. The first page of results is shown, but the Next 25 link doesn't work. Here's why. The url for Next 25 is:

http://www.wildwings.net/links/search.cgi?&nh=1

Your window opening did not pass the search term, for whatever reason.

But, when going from More Search Options (which also opens a new window, but this time BEFORE the results, the url is:

http://www.wildwings.net/links/search.cgi?query=a&mh=25&type=keyword&bool=and&nh=1

and the link works just fine.

So, you need to figure out what you did, when you added the Target=new from the regular submit.

Well I have tried about everything I can from a remote location. I will have to wait till I get back in town on Friday to see I what I really screwed up.

I removed the base target information for a new window and am still getting this problem. It must have happened at some point when I revised the home page layout. But what I changed is a mystery to this layman.

Well advise upon finding out what I may have done wrong. If I find it.

Hi,

Search.cgi requires the GET method for submitting form information. Change your <form action> tag to method=GET instead of POST and you should be fine.

Cheers,

Alex
