I'm just wondering if I should wait for Links v2.0 to come out rather to install and run 1.1?

I'm on a Virtual Server, so if I do decide to set it up should the paths I use be for example:
/usr/home/newbies/usr/local/etc/httpd/htdocs/webpage

or:

/usr/local/etc/httpd/htdocs/webpage

Hi christy,

Either version you run should be easy enough to convert over to 2.0 final.

If you aren't going Live right away, maybe you would want to instal 2.0beta, as that may be slightly easier to convert, and you can get a feel for how 2.0 works.

As for your path, it's hard to say without seeing your system. My guess would be that the second path you listed would be correct, but there is no way to tell.

I would look to see if your host has a FAQ file about cgi, or ask them.
