I have got links 2.0 installed and working now(finally!)and I am trying to customize the layout, colors ect.Since I do not know how to use html what I am doing is going into edit template picking the one I want to work on and then coping the code then pasting it into my html editor(microsoft front page)and that allows me to then swirch to drop and drag mode to modify the page, then I copy the modified code and paste it under te template I am working on,so far it has worked great, the problem is I am using an image for a background and the template is not picking it up because I do not have the image online or in an ftp space(I think).Does nyone know how to link to the image so the template can pick it up?

MS Frontpage has an import feature so you can import the file off your own machine to whatever folder on your server then you will be able to link to the image.

Erm, why dont you have the image online? If you are using it, there is not much point if you are the only one to be able to see it
When it IS online, then use the actual URL of it to call it, E.g http://www.yoursite.com/images/bg.gif
