Hi,

When I try to add a link, I get an error says that :

Auto submission is not allowed in this directory. Please visit the site to add your
entry.

Can anyone give an idea what I did wrong while installing?

You need to change this section of the links.cfg to your domain name and IP address:

# @referers is a list of domains that can use this script *
@referers = ('www.yoursite.com','yoursite.com','127.0.0.1');

I think you had the Referer Check mod in your links.cfg file installed and didn't configure it properly to allow your own network to accept new submissions.

Check with the instructions at this website: http://www.gossamer-threads.com/scripts/source/links_referer.txt
