error 500... help !

error 500... help !
when they say "http://localhost/links/cgi-bin/admin";
what do they mean by "localhost" ?
is it my domain name ?

can this (if not configured correctly) cause an internal error . error 500 ?

You have to replace "localhost" with your domain name, and misconfigurations will indeed cause internal server errors.

id did replace it, but it doesn't work.
the problem is somwere else ...
you can have a look to my directory : it's open to anybody : www.emploi-fm.com/links

Try the following codes in links.cfg, but first of all you should check with your hosting company if the absolute path you are using (bolded below) is correct.
Code:
# PATH and URL of Admin CGI directory. No Trailing Slash.
$db_script_path = "/usr/home/emploi-fm/public_html/cgi-bin/links/admin";
$db_dir_url = "http://www.emploi-fm.com/cgi-bin/links/admin";

# URL of User CGI directory. No Trailing Slash.
$db_cgi_url = "http://www.emploi-fm.com/cgi-bin/links";

# PATH and URL of Pages to be built. No Trailing Slash.
$build_root_path = "/usr/home/emploi-fm/public_html/links/pages";

ca devrait marcher, mais ca n'est pas le cas...

j'ai mis toutes les permissions au max pour que vous puissiez acceder a tout les fichiers.
quand au PATH, le chemin de la base est :
"/usr/home/emploi-fm.com/public_html"
cela marche sur un autre script.
je pense donc que c'est le bon.

As tu résolu ton problème?

sinon il faut que le chemin absolu soit egalement le bon!!!
demande le à ton hébergeur ou bien utilises un script pour le connaitre.
