I have got to the admin but when I try a build a get the following error

Backing up database . . .
Backing up links, category and email database (File::Copy) ...

CGI ERROR

Error Message : Unable to copy links backup. Reason: Bad file descriptor
Script Location : /home/wincamcs/public_html/niweb/cgi-bin/admin/nph-build.cgi
Perl Version : 5.00404

I have used fileman to protect the admin folder may this be causing the problem

Any help would be appreciated

I have the same exact problem but I didn't use Fileman si I think the reason is elsewhere...
Anyone could -please- help us????

Mark I got mine sorted it was a permissions error on the backup folder and files below admin I beleive.:-)

Check your permissions that should do the trick if you gave any further problems email me and I will check mine again

i solved the problem.
I renamed "data" folder and needed to edit /cgi-bin/admin/nph-build.cgi instead of links.cfg only.
