I am new to Perl, but delving in. I really like Fileman. I installed it and it works as expected.

Anyone know of a free Perl script that creates a backup of a website?

Essentially, I want to create an archive using Tar (like fileman has), then download the Tar.gz file.

Anyone know where in fileman I can find the code that creates the tar.qz file. I want to study that code and see if I can write that functionality.

Any help or direction to a program that has the features I am looking for would greatly be appreciated.
