Hi, All!

When I try to Edit just created file, I get "FileDownload" window for fileman.cgi. Then I click "Open", I get second "FileDownload" window, but for file, which I want to edit.

If I click "Cancel" I still can't Edit my files!

All other functions are working very properly.

The FileMan installed on the:
web-server: Apache;
Perl version: 5.005_03;
OS: FreeBSD 4.3;
As client I was try to using InternetExplorer 6.0, 5.5, 5.0

What do I wrong?

You can only edit text and html files, it should open the download window when your files aren't supported to edit/view in fileman.

But, I means about *.html and *.txt files only! I have no wishes for *.exe or *.dll files editing!

Ok, when I try to paste something from clipboard into just created html or txt file and save such file, I can see such links to all my files in the main list of files:

http://www.server-name.com/cgi-bin/fileman/fileman.cgi/fileman.cgi/fileman.cgi/test.txt?cmd_do=cmd_edit&work_path=&c_edit=test.txt&

Does it correct? I mean (......fileman.cgi/fileman.cgi/fileman.cgi/......).

The all links are corrupted after paste something into just created files. How I can fix it?

The link's fixed in new fileman package, you can download it at download area.

You talking about new FileMan package? In download area I can see fileman-2[1].0.0.tar.gz (235809 bytes) such version I have installed and it have a link's bug.
