I have tried setting up fileman 3 times now. Wanted to use it for password protecting /links/admin/admin.cgi

I do not know if cgi.pm is installed on the server.

How can I password protect admin.cgi for links. The program is ready to launch, but unprotected.

PS Why doesn't the admin section of links come preloaded with password protection? Curious

 
Adding password protection into the program adds significant overhead. It is much easier and safer to let the server password protect the info. Also, the script could not protect your data files, whereas server authentication will.

I am getting an internal servor error. It is not ascii upload, permissions or path to perl problems.
