I am new to Perl Script and so please have some patience with me.
Well, I installed Active State Active Perl 5.8 and then I installed File Man under IIS 6.0. I verified that there is a .cgi and .pl MIME extension and I also linked .cgi and .pl to perl.exe in the proper location. Furthermore I permitted Perl CGI Extension under Web Service Extensions and I added fileman.cgi to the Default Content Page in IIS. Just to be safe I also checked that IUSR_xxx is allowed to execute perl.exe and fileman.cgi.
In theory everything should work I assume, but if I go the page it starts loading and then I receive a CGI timeout message. If I go to the web directory and execute perl fileman.cgi it correctly shows me a web page. Not sure what else I can try. Did anybody get File Man to work with Win2003 IIS 6.0?
Thanks,
Jens
