I have installed the script just like it says and I always get a 500 error. The same happens with my other perl scripts except a links.pl from Matts Scripts. I checked to make sure that the perl path is correct and the same as in the working cgi file. But none of my other scripts work. I need help fixing them.

Anytime that I've ran into a 500 error it seems to stem back to a permission setting. Make sure that all of the permissions are set correctly on your scripts.
Hope this helps!

I set fileman.cgi to chmod 755 and the log file to 666
I also set the rest of the items using what the readme said.
Also in response to the other solution given, I host it on www.f2s.com and when I log in FTP I see /www.natecj.f2s.com/ as the folder with my pages.
They also mention a full path: /web/????????/www.natecj.f2s.com
I replaced the first type path with the full path and tried again, no luck there.
It still dosent work though.
