I keep getting server misconfigurations when installing fileman, I cannot tell what is wrong!
Hello grimya:
Can you please post the %config in fileman.cgi and also tell me the directory where your fileman.cgi reside? Perhaps I can help you if you tell me more.

Hello grimya:
I do not seem to see any problem with the config. Can you tell me whether you are using Windows or a UNIX variant and what type of a web server you are running?
On second thought,
are these the full path? I do not think so, maybe if you change it to the full path it will work. It is worth a try.
root_dir => "/fileman/share",^M
logfile => "/fileman/fileman.log",^M
password_dir => "/fileman/pass",^M
As for the OS, judging from the ^M, it must be a UNIX variant. Correct me if I am wrong.
If it does not work, you can contact me again.
Cheers
Sun
