Unable to write to directory during install.
this is what i get back: Unable to write to directory (/home/httpd/vhosts/wasted.org). Reason: (Permission denied)

i've choosed it as root-path. what goes wrong?

i've double checked ascii/binary upload and chmod 755 install.cgi.

Ensure that the /home/httpd/vhosts/wasted.org directory can be written by the user who running the install.cgi file

well. i installed filman with the suggested root dir and edited the config afterwards. now it works just fine.

The problem with the url above was that you needed cgi-bin (or httpdocs) on the end.

You are using plesk right?

yeah i am. but the thing was that i wanted to reach one level above httpdocs. changing it afterwards seemed to be the only solution, and it worked.
