Uninstall?
For some reasons, I can't use FileMan 2.0 and would like to uninstall the product. I tried deleting it from the FTP server but I can't. I'm getting a "Permission Denied" error. Please help.

Do you have shell/telnet access? If so, you can delete the files that way.

rm *

(in the Fileman directories)

What problems are you having?

Btw, if you do wish to uninstall, using telnet/ssh may work but you'd probably want to use:

rm -r * from within the fileman directory.

My web host doesn't have Perl 5 and I can't use any of the functions. It's useless to me. I don't have telnet/shell access so what can I do?

Never mind. Thanks for helping me with the rm -r * command. I successfully deleted it.

Yes and then you can let anyone run system commands on your server Laugh

You might want to add a bit of regex :)

Thanks for the suggestion, but I already have cgitelnet.pl. And I use .htaccess to protect the script which is a little excessive...the script requires a login also, hehe.
